Coloured Rims

Hi Fellas,

I wondering is it possible to spray paint the rims to eg black or red?
Anyone has any experience and will the paint peel off?

no problem at all. Paint will not peel off if prepared correctly. Most workshops will do it

Ive painted rims before, but i had them sandblasted for prep. What rims are you considering painting? Then make sure tyre place uses teflon on their machine to mount the tyres!!

The rims are the original E60 17 " rims that came with the car.
How much did you get yours done for ?

mine done in Australia for free!! hehe

original already painted i think, easy to repaint. Or if you want simple colour, get them powdercoated

They will usually sand the rims down, prep them and then spray the colour before adding a layer of clear coat over them. Give or take a couple of days. U can even get the matt/rough look too.
