Bros, any advice whether if coilover and sway bar legal here? Can pass inspection? Will installing both coilover and sway bar together redoned?? Would you spend that money to install them if your budget permits?? Any views and sharings?? I am novice on these. Thanks.

Re: Coilover and Sway Bar Queries

nerver heard off coilover & swaybar fail inspection
coilover = sure thing for me
swaybar = nice to have especially for a person who have high expectation on handling.
if budget permit = coilover + swaybar = as a package = one time installation for perfection :D

Hi snowmanyee,

it sure to pass LTA inspection..........
if budget allows, go for it......is a good mod ( power is nothing without good handling )

I've got both..........for the ARBs depends on the evenness of the road - as long as the hump or pothole hits both front or rear pair of wheels at the same time it feels ok. Else it starts to transfer that bumpiness to the other wheel if the hump or pothole hit only one side of the car's wheels.

According to some - ARBs are great for the long bending sweeps and to adjust your under/over steers - makes a lot of difference. Coilovers will take care of the simple short turn left / right body rolls.

Get those hollow ARBs - lighter. Those solid types weighs a ton ......

Re: Coilover and Sway Bar Queries

Noob question. Does the stock 320 come installed with ARB? Never really asked.

Re: Coilover and Sway Bar Queries

Thanks bro for all the sharings. BMW sure has ARB as BMW's handling is second to none (stock vs stock comparison). An even harder decision to make now after starting this thread. :)

Re: Coilover and Sway Bar Queries

Profile yourself - are you the type who enjoy a comfortable ride (for instance, prefer 18" over 19") or prefer a harsher ride but slightly better handling....... no point modding if you could not appreciate the change in drive dynamics.......
