COE prices mostly down

SINGAPORE: COE prices are down in all but one category in the second bidding exercise in September.

The largest drop was in the open category where it dropped by S$3,087 from S$65,589 to S$62,502.

In the small cars category including taxis, COE prices fell S$2,994 from S$51,000 to S$48,006.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices were down by S$1,811 from S$31,900 to S$30,089.

In the motorcycles category it fell S$230 from S$2,339 to S$2,109.

The only rise was in the big cars category where COE prices rose by S$1,887 from S$63,002 to S$64,889.

we "group save up" now and wait till COE drop till 20k then buy
so that buy cheap and dun need loan so much ma

I remember I went to C&C in 2003 as was interested in a C200 sedan. The Aunty SE smiled and explained to me the financing program. I asked whether can take 100% loan. She stopped smiling n looked at me in disgust, saying "we never had customers taking 100% loan before" and shoved me some forms and said she was busy n walked away. I think she went into the office to laugh at me...
