This forum is huge. With 3,000 forum members, it will be impossible to align everyone's interests and organise an event meant for all forumers. Only the monthly meetup and D&D are events meant for all members.
We do have events that cater to different needs. If you are a car fanatic, the admin has organised tech talks sessions and track sessions at Sepang. ADT, IDT, drive to Kuantan/Cameroon, whatever. If you are sporty, there are group events in golf, soccer and what not. We have had movies night before, but logistics like booking of tickets was a nightmare. We have had wine and dine session. We have paintball sessions recently which attracted those who loves adrenaline pump. We have various kopi sessions all over town, with different subgroups. How could all these have not appeal to you?
Finally, clubbers we have many. Pubbers even more. Wednesday night Balaclava. Thursday night Thumper. Sometimes Velvet, Wine Bar, or Indochine. The question is - how could you know if you are not in the thick of things? You must come to the meetup to get hooked up.
Okay, for all these, you owe me a drink. Put time put place. Clubs, Pubs, or Tiams. All boleh.

I guess it's easier to coordinate in smaller groups. Then there's the high potential tua-ers. Once we get to know each other it's easier to organise. Which the monthly meetups help with of course.
But it's a good idea nonetheless. You can put something together and post it in the forum.
