esp. jogging 2.4km, push up, chin up etc. is definitely advantage to train before NS.
i was doing like 7mins for 2.4km before my NS days, even my officer can't catch me kekekeke.. my army days is nightmare in 1988 , instructor will torture us to maximum.. u better not drive ur E60 there hahahaha, the officer car smaller than urs u in trouble hahahahahaha..............

how to drive there? your e60 is not submarine or those duck tours landing ships leh
anyway, if the COs sees u n your E60, they prob find wall to crash into, in hokkien we call that "long pia".....cos u recruit already drive E60 while they have to sign away their youth for maybe a E60....
dun worry bro, that first few bmt weeks will pass very soon, just keep your fingers crossed for your unit posting, hopefully its a 9 to 5 stayout camp and u kena admin clerk duties

Heeraj, I went to Sandy liao.. she said the most important thing about becoming a soldier is to remember the 8 Codes of Conduct..
No 1 - err... forgot
No 2 - err... also forgot
No 3 - err.. ???? trying hard to remember may take a while
No 4 - err.. what comes after 3.. let me see.. hmmmm.. *blankz*
No 5 - err.. simi lai... was it about 4-D or something.. need to check
No 6 - Ah... we must guard our weapon as we guard our wives.. not applicable to you coz you not married..so anyhow use your weapon lah.
No 7 - As SSzone ... "Do anything you like but don't get caught"
No 8 - At all time, we must remember to collect our pay at the end of the month.
Have a nice holidays and keep in touch...

Err.. I think Sandy's rank quite high one.. maybe just one above the rank of major.. I think the hokkien platoon call her something like.. KNN Sandy or something..
.. like same rank as that Kentucky fat arse one...

wah lau eh, i think i am the only Sandee who bothered to call heeraj cos of his pre-ns fears.....chairman ah ni kuan dui woh? hahaha.....
anyway, heeraj also no time, at least for the 1st few months until he kena posted to clerical duties at some camp, hopefully not tekong.
i dun think point 8 matter to him.....the SAF pay not even enough to pay for petrol, polishing job or whatever for his 5 series and dun worry, SAF very zhoon when it comes to payday.....more zhoon than live firing range

#1 - Don't try to be the first in anything, and definitely don't lag behind and be the last (whom they call sabo king)
#2 - Be humble
#3 - Help others when they need you. Cannot be selfish, otherwise your mates will make life difficult for you also.
#4a - Learn to differentiate between Sir, Mdm, and Sergeant.
#4b - Any officer/sergeant ask you any question or ask you to do things, just shout "YES SIR/SERGEANT/MDM!".
I can train you in this. If you see me and other club sandees, and we ask you to do things like wash our car, learn to reply as loud as possible "YES SIR!". If Sandy ask you pardon me?pardon me?pardon me?, you reply "YES MDM!" (btw, you know what is pardon me?pardon me?pardon me?? )
This rule will guarantee safety in any situation.
#5 - Learn to scold bad words like KNNBCCB, LJ, FU. I will hand this task to johnhiggin
#6 - Visit Sandy before and after you booked out. Your jetty is very near to her if I am not wrong. Ask for forgiveness that you can't visit her as frequent as before.
#7 - Pass your E60 to Club Sandy and we will take turn to take care of it till you book out.
Don't worry, when you arrive at jetty for first book out, we convoy there and escort you out. Your mates and officer see already sure :yikess: , guarantee don't dare to touch you next time!!

i think i have 4 minor mods to date:
1) front struts
teck helped me buy this b4 my baby full month thing, will post pic later.
gotta thank Teck for running so far to buy this new toy....and ya, he also got one hor.....dun pray pray
2) rear strut
this is baby full month present from our dear Chairman Jawsg, installed it over the weekend. finally, somebody bothered to reward the kid's daddy.
Once again, Thank You Chairman!!!
3) Small lights (blue led)
i dumped my (small light) white leds for philips silvervision but the philips bulbs looked very beng-ish orange so weekend hand itchy went to autobacs n got myself a set of piaa blue leds
4) evil air charger
was flipping thru hotstuff mag, hand itchy again cos starting to hiam my E68 micro-compressor so popped by silent yesterday afternoon and got myself a new evil air charger. took out the E68 n installed the evil thingy, tuned the air charger thingy and my verdict? my E36 was on steriods, slight touch on accelerator the ride chiong liaozzz....haha....very responsive with good low end. Mid, high -end i got my hks super flow filter. by the way FC appears to be good with the new air charger, will post update again once i try it out for a week.
