Following our earlier thread on this event, here are the outlined details/info of the activities for your convenient. Kindly keep this exclusively for the updating of signing up and keep any necessary discussions in the former thread.
The day's activities shall be divided into 3 Legs and all are welcomed to participates in all or any of the Legs. The event is taking place on Nov 25, 2007 from 9.30 am onwards (note - FUA means Form Up Area)
Leg 1 - Charity Voluntary Work
Venue : Heart to Heart (130 Hougang Avenue 1 Singapore 538900)
FUA : Heart to Heart (between lamp-post 43 ~ 47)
Time : 9.30 am
Activities:
Usual gathering and meet with Heart to Heart staff plus other regular volunteers. Collection of give-away packages where 2 destination shall be assigned to us. Will need to car-pool with max. 2 cars/destination. Those not involved can stay at Heart to Heart with me to plan for the next Leg.
Lunch shall be at the food court near the vicinity. Departure time is 1.30 pm
Leg 2 - Photoshoot at Airbase
Venue : Seletar Air Base (open area diagonally opposite Hawker Pacific hangar)
FUA : Jln Kayu car park (beside first prata shop nearest to the TPE)
Time : 1.45 pm
Activities:
A representative from Leg 1 will be dispatched there to co-ordinate the form-up. Shall join the convoy from Leg 1 by 2.00 pm into Seletar Air Base. Upon arriving (also subjected to size of group), all cars should parked in an orderly fashion to one side of the open area (reversed parking only). Photoshoot shall commence, no particular photographer engaged for this. Volunteers most appreciated.
Departure Time shall be 3.30 pm.
Leg 3 - Bmw-sg Monthly Meetup
Venue : Carpark beside Kallang McDonald's
FUA : Seletar Air Base
Time : 4.30 pm
Activities:
Shall be as usual. For info, the convoy route from Seletar to Kallang shall be as described below;
Exit Air Base onto TPE --> PIE (Changi) --> ECP --> Fort Road --> Kallang McDonald's
Other Information:
Please note that this event and donation/effort contributed are on voluntary basis. I hope that it would turn up to be enjoyable for all participants and do take note of the followings tips;
1. Please be safe and look after yourself and those you brought along
2. No fast and furious activities during convoy, orderly driving most appreciated.
3. Ensure you have enough fuel and other logistics for your participation.
4. I am not aware if a public toilet is available at the photoshoot location.. bring bottles, rubber-bands or plugs at your own discretion.
