"clicking noise" when braking E39

Hi folks,

I have recently begun to hear a clicking noise from my front right tyre when braking, it also happens if i apply the brakes when stationary, thus ruling out suspension issues. i have had the wheels pads and rotors inspected and they seem ok, but i have no idea what it may be. Anyone have a similar experience? Any ideas or solutions are as always greatly appreciated
