Re: Check engine light-help....
Hi Bock, same thing happened to me a fortnight ago. Check engine light came on, checked with the forum gurus and found out that it could mean anything from as small as a faulty spark plug, to more serious engine problems. Power loss was rather insignificant but decided to check with the workshop anyway. Went for the check and the problem was a faulty valvetronic motor. Got quotes from various workshops and this is where Boss Motorsports stood out. Rather than quoting directly, they asked me to go down for a check to see if the problem is really the valvetronic motor. To cut the long story short, Boss ran some checks, did some tuning and advised that there wasn't any need to change the motor. What would originally have cost 900 bucks was reduced significantly to less than 100 bucks. Car is now running as per normal.
Bock, I'd advise that you call up Boss and set an appointment for a check to see what's wrong. Good luck buddy. Cheers, Sam
