    1. Caveat Emptor - Before buying from user, do your homework. Check out the person's posting history, number of posts etc.
    2. This is a service we provide free and for the members convenience - we're not responsible for any deals gone bad.

    For everyone else:
    1. No OT. They will be deleted. If you continue despite us warning you, we will ban you from the classifieds completely.
    2. Report all suspicious sellers. If you've seen or come across them from other boards/forums - do report them immediately - it will help everyone here a great deal.

i tink he stated is universal.. but mind i ask which car is it used for previously... if diff car, will have to change the mountings to make it fit leh...

Cant be universal.

Single pipe, twin pipes, quad pipes.
4-potters, 6-potters, 8-potters etc.
All got difference one...

Think Herman is right...this is the first time I heard of Universal Remus muffler

I don't doubt its authencity, just doubt whether it really is universal?

I think it should be a 4 potter cause it has only 1 inlet. 6 potters usually require 2 inlets. But you can just join the 2 pipes into 1 before going to the muffler.

Hi futron, have not seen you since we first met at ES, remember you bought the spark-plug cables somewhere in April and you were in the hurry to go? We should meet up again one fine day.

I think this REMUS muffle is universal in the sense that it is possible to fit on whatever car that comes with 2" mid-pipe. Just modify, reduce or extend the muffle inlet length to suit your mid-pipe.

But Remus must have been made for a specific car right? My question is which car is that? It may not even be for BMW...

Yes, I did check the REMUS catalog, it made muffles for specific BMW cars (almost all models except the latest) and it is LTA-approved. But, the approval is STICKY to car model, you can verify with LTA for such info.

Yea... remus shld haf made it for a specific model... hehe.. honestly by the pic.. i tot it was meant for a Honda.. cuz it looks super alike to mine on my civic some time back... Also, even if it is LTA compliant, he dun haf cert also leh.. and LTA compliant for BMW e36,will not be compliant for E46 or other models ba... so where is the owner??

LTA will not give letter of approval without cert.

(P.S Just went for LTA inspection 2 days back so i know :p)

sorry for late reply was overseas, ya, bison is right, it 4 pot and it is taken out from my E36 92 model. from drift31
