changing my black e60 colour.....any opinions?

guys,




as my car is in my paintshop installing new shoes and bodykits.... im thinking of changing colour....

its currently black and since i have to spray my m-tech kits, i was thinking why not go the extra mile and change the colour?

some thoughts i have got was blue, and using BMW M5 interlagos blue, tobago blue, or audi's caelum blue...

what do u think is the best colour on the e60.... i have another white one aldy, so white is out of question....

if i remain black i get to save 800-1000bucks.... hmm? im quite torn... trying to find the best colour since i have a chance to change everything now....

shd i change or shld i just spray back to black...

If you are asking which colour is nicer, its really subject to individual liking ..... There are no right or wrong. One man's poison maybe another man's meat........
But If you are looking at which is easier to maintain, then Black and White are hardest of all. Silver is the easiest to maintain.
For me, I will stick to Black.

Perhaps you should post this and other such matters in the technical forum under "exterior". This should be a classified ads area for buying and selling.

BTW, my underwear today is black. So i suggest black.....you mean your car is already black? Great! leave it as it is. I just saved you your $1000 so remember to buy me lunch next time. ;-)

I think you should consider Atlantis Metallic, its a really nice blue and a BMW Individual Colour for the E90 M3. You can refer to page below for a preview of this colour.

1000 is top up terry.... total spray cost change colour is 2000....

the atlantis blue is nice but i prefer something darker, ie interlagos blue... its either blue or remain black....

stick with a base coat black but put a pearl bluish finish to it. Swee Swee.

Bear in mind - resprayed cars and non original colours will see you suffer in terms of resale, and export value...

Respraying based on needs or wants, you might as well get colours which are deemed more unique than standard colours.

Black, white, silver - standard colours which look a tad like uniforms......sort of defeat the purpose of modding for a distinctive flavour when everyone is having same body colours, same bodykit, and same wheels!!!

Stock choice of colours, you could be stuffed with inventory colours. Now that you are respraying, go for some individualism and character.

Just my two cents.

would look even better if i throw in brembos hah!

im in NZ now... would return in 2 weeks time to see the finished product!!
