hmm.... I was thinking along the same lines as you bro...haha..
Had asked around and they say they will "hang" out the engine and spray. Even the rubber will be removed before spraying.
better to get a white car so it's easier to get the pearl white. otherwise must spray base coat before the final coat. then means your paint will be rather thick.
That's the reason they gave for the 2 weeks that they need to spray the whole car.

All colours will fade after some rime, especially white, if you didn't maintain it properly and regularly. My previous ride is a Honda pearl white and it turns yellowish after some time. That's the reason why I didn't get white though it will look real nice on any cars, especially BMWs.

careful in choosing your workshop... there only a few good enough and even fewer does inside part of engine compartment and boot area...
not naming who is good and who is not ... just do your own research... u pay peanuts u get monkeys..
i have seen really bad change colour paintjob... that u might as well sell the car and buy new one

2.5k maybe same with mike lo, cos i think he quoted me 3k for the 7 which is bigger in surface area.
think u r right abt the camry!!
can save $$ also!!
