Don't know why some drivers like to speed up when you have ample space at the rear, signalled and commence the switch of lane. Just encountered one yesterday with a Wish. Still have the cheek to gesture at me when we stopped at the traffic lights. Maybe he looked down on my ride. I was driving my other Pegeout van.

My friend, the SJP7??? Kia Picanto I meet in the morning once in a while, will speed up to stop me from cutting in, then hang around my blind spot and trap me behind slower moving traffic on my lane.
whatever it is ...never never stop your car on the extreme right lane. Unless your car is so badly damage that it cannot be driven to the shoulder. I ever witnessed a bloody pileup when a taxi and another car stopped at the extreme right lane along TPE after a small accident. Some more at night. The next thing you know, 3 other cars came from behind and up lorry both vehicles. Luckily the 2 drivers outside arguing never kenna knocked.
On NSH, try not to stop along the road shoulder too. A friend got out to bring his boy boy for a quick pee. Came back and saw his car got no boot left.

I know.. I got involved in a chain-collision also along BKE. One guy smacked another guy, next thing 3 more guys smacked them, including me.
I was also lucky enough to be the last driver in the chain. If you've been involved in a chain-collision before you'd know that the last driver always gets the blame. I got a $200 fine and 6 demerit points for "reckless driving", all because the guy I whacked is Malaysian so must make police report. If all normal Singapore cars no prob liao.
My lawyer advised me against fighting it because it's too expensive to do so. But in retrospect I should've at least tried talking to them.
