Hi All,

I am a newbie to E90. and just found out that my CD changer doesnt work as in the icon did not appear at the headunit... so i went to PML asking for help... the SA told me that they need 1.5 days to fix it! he was telling me that they need to reprogram the whole car and it needs more than a day to do it?? is this true or they (PML) always behave like that?

Apparently, it is their new procedure where they will run a full diagnostic check on your car before proceeding with the warranty claim.

Changing my rear brake light cluster bracket will also take 1 day... even though my right side took only 10mins under the old scheme...

that dont sound to comfortable to me.. besides its so inconvenience without a ride... maybe thats what PML call a good service huh? :ultrasho:

I have changed and collected my central lock on the same day. Try demanding for the same day collection. Send your car in before 9 and collect before 5.

i did try demanding and also demand for a courtsey car since its so inconvenience over 1 day...but maybe my negotiation skills not so good lah.. :(

Yeah, the full diagnostic check is what they offer nowadays.

Anyway, i had my CD changer done in about a day too. What to do.. but i rather not rush them and let them test it out right.
