I am a fan of carnuba wax. Been using Eagle One for quite some time now. Keen to try other brands. Does anyone know where I can find Mothers carnuba wax? Or the latest Turtle Platinium range?

Zymol should be the best or at least the most expensive carnuba wax. They have different grades and if I'm not wrong, the mid range ones are already $100++ a can of about 200-250ml. They grade their was according to the age of the fruit. Those that are very expensive usually is white color and the cheaper ones are yellow.

Try to go to this shop along owen road, not sure if its still there. They cater to lambo, ferraris and porsche. They have a lounge area with very expensive hi fi speakers that looks like giant seashells.

There are a lot of fake carnuba wax products in the market where it contains only 5% carnuba oil to give you the tropical fruit smell. Real carnuba wax should be very high content.

Yes...This is the shop's website
///--------------- C a r w o r k s--------------- ///. Contact person is either Kelvin or Lionel

I'm currently using them. It's good stuff. They have the highest percentage of carnuba. Not just yellow carnuba but white. Erm.. Mid range ones are abt $300 per can. Next jump if you want will be the "vintage". The cost will be about $2800++ for a can of about 200-250ml. Catch is that you can refill it for as long as you live... ..or at least for as long as they are around. The top of the range will be the "Royale". Cost is about $9000+ Highest percentage of white carnuba. You can read up more on Welcome to Zymol Worldwide

Yes, I have used zymol before. Good stuff, but doesnt last as long as I hoped. I tried the cheaper ones like Eagle One, about 16% carnuba, and it is mixed with a cleaner element that also eliminates slight scratches too. Fits my purpose quite well. After all I used the hand wash outlets and bound to be scratches to the paintwork. Does anyone know where I can find Mother's carnuba wax? The latest turtle platinium is also a carnuba blended with mica polymers. Magazine review gave it better scores than even the mid range Swiss Ol pure carnuba wax retailing at S$600 per can! I have seen the turtle platinium before in sgp. Can remember where now but it was going at $33 per can

Re: Carnuba Wax - best brand?

Carnuba is only good for show car finishing and competition. It will wear away after 5 washes thats why I stopped using Zymol. I remember seeing Mother's products in ACE Hardware shop at Novena Square 2-3 yrs ago but they closed down. Not sure if there's another ACE in Singapore. Good luck.

Mother's Wax, i saw it a Singapore Warehouse at Paya Leber Road. It's operated by a detailer and have a store upstairs selling some wax products.

They are carrying Chemical Guys' products, I am using them, it's quite easy to DIY, I love their sealent, apply and apply, no cure time needed.

Here's the address.

Re: Carnuba Wax - best brand?

Yup.. It might not be as lasting but it somehow gives off a more natural sheen and shine than some of the others. It's hard work applying it too... haha...

Yup. My thoughts exactly. The shine is not the shiniest in the market, but somehow it looks more natural. Hard to apply it? dont think so but ...ahem.. i cheat by using someone to polish my car with it.:) Cheers..
