Out of curiosity, me and a couple of my mates are thinking of organizing a car forum soccer league. Right now got a few car forums that have a soccer team so was thinking might as well we organize a mini league like 8 team tournament home and away basis. If the response is good we might start this somewhere middle of the year like that.

it will be a 11 a side league. if we can get 8 team then the leauge will be confirm. it will be play on every weekend. as for the field we will let you all know the place later. will need someome from this forum to manage the team. need someone to be manager

5-a-side easier for us. I have played with this forum for the last (at least) 4 years, and it appears to me that the interested players are more suited for 5-a-side game. 11-a-side games require a different physical profile, of which many of us are lacking, evident from our weekly futsal games.

Ask yourself who in this thread actually play even 5-a-side soccer...... Temasek Club FOC also having difficulty getting 3 teams to show up....... Imagine having to book SSC fields or even pay for the cage? Organiser kenna tua big time. Ended up paying $80 per session without having the adequate headcount to play. Week in week out for the last 4 years I have been organising, gotta admit quite pissed off at times.
To me, any social league or competition, the rule is simple. Commitment. Passion. Without which is plain talk.
