Car dead when reversing?

Hi all, my e90 suddenly went dead when i was reversing into my carpark just now. what is wrong?

the moment i change to reverse gear, the car went dead and i have to start the car again. it happen continusly for 4 times after which i stop for 5min and everything was fine again.

what is wrong with the car? issit battery problem???


anyone can advised me? should i bring my car to service centre and check???

cant be battery if going forward is not a problem.

yes pls bring it in to check.dun think it will resolve itself

i had this problem before in my old e90, what i did was not to apply brake when reversing.each time i brake , the engine will die off...

of course have to be ready to apply it when necessary as you are reversing

Definitely need to send back to service centre. Most probably they will do a reprogramming on your Transmission.
