Car cam and battery

Hi all
I just gotten a 2012 520. I transferred my car cam from previous ride over. Using the old setting of cut-off at 12 hours, I get the "increased battery discharge" message the next day. However when I set to 6 hours cut-off, everything is fine.
The things is at 6 hours cut-off, I will get some blacked out period.
Any suggestions what can be done to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Use additional external battery pack. If problem still persist, car battery maybe the issue. Assuming your car battery has never been change before since 2012, that's 5 years old liao ..
