Can these scratches on my CF part be repaired?

I am a really fuzzy guy. I think some people call it OC.

So, I've got this scratches on the edge of my carbon fiber rear diffuser. Can I use a really fine sand paper to smoothen it. Then coat it with polyster resin or clear coat? Where can one usually get polyster resin?

Ok, I'm actually planning to bring it maybe to the guy who installed me my diffuser. I'm sure he can best tell me what to do. But before I embarrass myself with my good friend for being analy fuzzy. I want to do a DIY thing

Sorry I have nothing constructive to offer ... but it's spelt fussy. If you're anally fuzzy and you're embarrassing yourself going DIY with your good friend it means something REALLY different :D

Hope someone else can help you dude ... I mean with your CF part ... erm...

My friend who is best installer here in the Philippines. Sanded it for me. And reduced a lot of the white thing you see. It is also much smoother now. Well actually, I can say now it's quite acceptable. I can sleep well :)

I braved being called ANALY FUZZY by my friend, so I still braved asking him what's the solution. He told me, he normally puts a sort of 1mm or 2mm black strip (with sticker) on these kind of edges. According to him even the real AC SCHNITZER has this seal at the edge.
