Can 320i rims fit 130i 3dr hatch?

Just checking with the experts

stock 320i configuration is 205/55R/16V (7J x 16)
stock 130i configuration is 205/50R/17W (7J x 17)

got this off www.bmw.com; no idea what it means.

My qn is can 18" rims taken off a 320i fit a 130i?

ans is cannot coz 3-er has quite different offsets from the 1-er
ie, they will rub and likely to stick outta the wheel arches.
