Caltex Platinum fuel - now at regular 98UL prices

I read that Caltex recently dropped the price of their premium Platinum 98UL gas to the price of their regular Gold 98UL gas. so now u get Platinum for the price of Gold! Wonder if this will affect Shell's (sibeh expensive) Vpower sales.

But anyway, for all you guys here who usually use Caltex Gold 98UL, pls dont' get cheated. My friend told me he went to pump Platinum, and the station was still selling Gold (supposed to be phased out). The uncle at the pump never even tell him about the price change. Maybe some stations trying to clear stock of the Gold to unknowing buyers... :nehnehhh:

For me, it's good news lah. smooth gas at regular 98UL price. Time to dump my esso smiles card liao.

not sure abt the gold or platxx but i pump Caltex, i point to staff i want 98 grade..price abt $1.74 in Feb, got 10% off using OCBC card. But now Citibank offer Esso 98 (SYN8000) at S$1.67 5% + Citibank 7% off = 12% off...

I was just informed by friendly SHELL pump attendant that the SHELL V-Power is going at prices of SHELL 98 from 7pm- 11pm.

hahaha. I told her that i will back after 7pm.

Any bros can verify that? Dont seem to find any info on this promotion online.

Yeah its Shell F1 promotion this weekend fri-sun 7pm-11pm ending tonite

The price is already adjusted when i went to top up the fuel yesterday. The attendant asked me to go for V-Power instead of 98. Umm ... no much diff anyway lol
