Re: BVO or Boss

Dear all,

Which will you choose?

BVO or Boss?

Both are very good I think.. I choose BOSS because:

i) A friend who is also a bimmer driver intro me there.
ii) I like their customer lounge where I can work while my car is being serviced/modded.
iii) Never ketok me. Final prices are always at or below what was initially quoted, never above, and on par or better than what other workshops quoted.
iv) I like their customer service and professionalism. Been there many times now so friend-friend with some of the people there. :)

Re: BVO or Boss

pbear1973,

thks thks, greatly appreciated. will most likely check out both.
btw for your mod dream list, why is 313 rims not attainable?
someone was selling it not too long ago at this site not sure if they are sold though.

Re: BVO or Boss

pbear ... going forward with more mods installed, your car will become BOSS demo car lor
actually i also service at BOSS :D

Re: BVO or Boss

Go to SWC Mike for bodykits/bodyworks.

Re: BVO or Boss

think i called mike 1-2 months back, was quoted 7K.
checked with PML yesterday they are offering the F10 MSports bodykit

1) S$4,437 for the complete kit itself.

2) S$5,954 including installation and spary paint.

I can only choose option 1, mine PI lah I sincerely doubt they will install and spary for me ha.

Re: BVO or Boss

Style 313 performance rim, both owners had sold off their rims..

Lol wife don't allow. Ditto with the CF boot, CF bonnet, performance seats and paddle-shifters.. :(
One bro here offered me his 3 month old perfect condition 313s for less than half the retail price.

Best thing is to call for both workshops and find out more about their service and pricing, then see which you like better. :) Both workshops are respected bimmer experts.

Haha ya man.. going to fit ARBs on Friday, then fit slotted disks, cool carbon pads and steel braided lines once the disks come in. :D

I only change oil at BOSS.. servicing must be done at PML because of warranty.. zzz..

Bruce, er...I meant Kenn...can explain a bit more? When do you go for Boss, BVO and R2D? And why?

(1) Anything in the engine bay, I will leave it to Boss, given Dre's familiarity with the N54 block. Bear in mind another workshop has screwed up my DME installing the Procede before I switched to JuiceBox. I have to be cautious.

(2) Anything mechanical and concerns trouble-shooting, example brakes and coils, I think Ah Wee is the best person with all the necessary experience. David comes very close.

(3) Anything electrical, example lightings, Rodney is the man.

(4) Anything with wheels, PitStop, Leong Seng or Hurry.

(5) Anything with bodyworks, installation and spraypainting for major parts, Mike (SWC) for obvious reason. He knows the car inside out insofar as aesthetics are concerned. Anything for smaller paint jobs, Yew Lip and Angie will provide adequate service.

(6) Anything with paint restoration, I will stick to Elite (besides Boss). Anything with normal polish and maintenance, Cazcomp at Millenia Walk.

Don't ask me why I pick which mamasan at which KTV.........
