Anybody has done anything to black-out the lower bumper mesh? Mine looks a bit dull and looking for ways to make it really black to match the kidney grille. I was informed that painting the bumper mesh won't last long...

Re: Bumper Mesh

bro,

your bmw performance grille is glossy and shinny. the bumper mesh is just standard black.
imho, the the bumper mesh may not look nice in glossy and shinny.
the car colour contrast play a part too. in this aw e90, is the bumper mesh not black enough ?

Thanks for the photo. Mine looks dull. The one in the pic looks great -- real black. So how prof wt_know?

Re: Bumper Mesh

better ask mike for his "professional" opinion to verify your bumper mesh colour is normal or due to time the quality and colour has become dull
by the way, if i'm not mistaken the bumper mesh (fog light cover and centre) comes in black from factory as oem parts. it is not sprayed by local paint shop.
