So this way uses a 21w 12v Blue / White bulb kindly sourced by, and soon available online from Teddy at SSDD Motorsport http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/

using these blue bulbs will make the light white but less bright actually.

dunno if you can find those LED based bulbs. LEDs can be bright and white.

bugaboo, LEDs are not suited, I played with LEDs before, they blown easily. I was told by Prof. Wu that the temperature within a headlight housing will rise trememdeously and LEDs just cannot take that kind of heat.

The SSDD website does not have the bulb and it is in UK, having bought things from UK website before tells me that their shipping and handling costs are extremely high, if they ship outside of Europe at all.

For now, looks like a regular 12v20W halogen is the best choice.

This is the reply I got from SSDD, still more than 100 sin for a pair of parking lights!!! Any other options on this mod welcome.

Those bulbs were manufactuered by us, we use original German Osram E-mark bulbs and clour coat them to produce a brighter and whiter effect. The bulbs are very rare and expensive, we retail them in the UK for GB45 for a pair. Trade price is GBP33 for a pair. Our factory is located in Far East therefore the international air freight charge will not be expensive. How many pairs are you thinking of ordering? Volume order will allow me to give you a better price.
