Brand New E46 325i at $63k

Hi all,

I am considering buying a BMW 325i sport edition brand new at only $63k. It's duty free price in Langkawi, Malaysia where i stay now. After reading so much problems about new BMW i am a bit worried about the service and maintenance cost and we dont have any BMW service center here. I am using Cefiro 2.0 yr 2003 now and never give any problems.

Should i buy it ?

If it is 63K in Singapore, no doubt about it as you can see. Must compare with how much a fully taxed etc 325 E46 cost in Malaysia la.

Is the car only eligible to be driven in Langkawi?! Not alot of roads in Langkawi! :thinking:

You are right notams, I can only drive in the island. I can only bring out of langkawi for 30 days in a year. But i think Singapore and Langkawi about the same size. They only offer 20units here. The original price now in KL RM268K. I got it for RM138K. dont jealous.

I once spent $12,000 on a used car, only to lose $36,000 over the next 2.5 years on Repairs + Service. Believe me, a Daihatsu Charade that works and never breaks down is better than an unreliable Rolls Royce. If I were you, I would have stuck with the trouble-free Cefiro.
