Boot not closing When press internal button

Hi all Shifus

Just to check. Im driving a 528i , 2012 model. Im aware that inside my car near to bottom at right hand driver seat had a boot release button. I had pressed the button n the boot sprung open. But when i press the same button again, the boot will not auto close...i will have to get out of my car and press the button under the boot then it closes. Please advise if this is nornal? Doesnt the boot release button in our car able to close the boot automatically when pressed? Thanks in advance for all your replies

normal it has to be coded to close via the internal button. stock it wont do it
