Bro,

Thought of buying it as a second car.

Saw 3 units in the mkt, 2 in year 97,the other in 98. First one calling for price 63.8 + current coe= 80,800. Second one calling for 82,000.00 w/current COE. Third one calling for 63.8 but it is registered 1998, still got one year to go....

Rang up a few finance companies, To my surprise, they only can give us a max. of 40k for it.....

Any comments

Re: Bmw Z3

its a fantastic car to drive... a classic in its very own right. Muscular lines, sitting very aft of the car with a long long bonnet line... get the Z3 manual instad of Auto... The Manual is more enjoyable, and better performance yet giving good economy of ard 9km/L. the price range should be around 80K with 10 yrs COE to go. Try to buy the car in Cash if possible

Re: Bmw Z3

thanks buddy,
U bought your Z3 from AUTOBAHN laterly? I saw this Z3 last year direct from the owner and offered a 58K for it. Just too bad, I was away for a while, the car was sold at approx. 56K..
I also thought of a manual shift type will be gd for this babe. I have tried a friend of mine from manchester. It's great. BTW, his is a 98 Z3, 2.8. bought only 7 thousand pounds...
Thanks for your advice, mate....

Re: Bmw Z3

welcome. i didnt buy from autobahn, i bought from direct owner. darn u should have given him a deposit... 58K is a real real good deal if the car condition is well kept

Re: Bmw Z3

Do the Z3s hold their value so well? A 10yr old car at ~60K without COE sounds very high... is that considered to be the body value? >10yr cars no longer have any PARF rebate, right?

Re: Bmw Z3

My 1999 registered 1.9L Z3 with 64K km, AC exhaust, AC front splitters is for sale. Artic silver with red interior. PM me if interested.

Re: Bmw Z3

Re: Bmw Z3

well, well.

a 10 year old car, does not worth that much. All PARF and COE will be gone, unless a new 10 year COE is renewed, but then on the second day of the renewed COE car, it will be left only 99% of the value. eg. SGD17k renewed, left only SGD16.5.....

Very high risk and low return....

It is up to individual, you get what i mean....
