Thats a big part of the reason I'm here.. BMWs have these two factors whereas GTR is hmmm I don't know how to put it (dont want to anger GTR lovers here) sometimes when things are overrated, it loses its appeal (at least to me).
But one things for sure, the people on this site seems a little more friendly that the nissan one heh... and boy do I love the idea of driving at night in a convertible and get a hair perm with all the blowing
So, can anyone point me to any posts where people new to BMWs can read up to satisfy their impoverished minds? I swear I won't ask lazy questions like that anymore, just want to get a start and navigate from there

depends wat u are looking for bro, u can always use the search function if u'd like.
dun get me wrong, 335i cabrio's a superb car. but it's always what you are after. (and yes, watching that 3 piece roof fold n unfold like a pack of cards never gets tiring).
It's always what u are looking for in a car. For me, i'd take the GTR. My take on the 335i is that its too comfy and refined for an ah-seng like me... but if that's your thang' ....

haha yeah man, i second what mock said. chicks dig cabrio.
for me, i'll go for the cabrio anytime. although GTR beats a 335i cabrio flat. haha but it all comes down to the feel of the ride, whichever you feel most comfy and confident in. you can look for cabdriver in the forum, he drives a 320i PI cabrio. you can get to know more about a cabrio from him. he is a really nice guy. hahaha and is single too. haha
