BMW N20 Engine - Pin and crankshaft offset

I'm reading this: BimmerBoost - Full BMW N20 turbo 4 cylinder technical specifications plus history, overview, and N52 comparison

Look at page 32 onwards. Very impressed by such intricacies of engine design. Is this a new thing in the N20, or does the old REFINED 6 pots have the same pin/crankshaft offset?
