BMW ICE installer to recommend?

there is a shop that used to work together with PML for audio upgrades, i forgot the shop's name but will let u noe once i get it.. i upgraded mine for SGD2800, collecting the car soon, will let you know how the sound system sounds like k?.. i noe they put in 9 speakers instead of 6, a digi amp and a sub in it.. they changed all 9 speakers to lanzar i think which is pretty reasonable i thnk, but the price is pretty steep ya?.. but all good, will let u know the name of the shop soon k bro?..

Go for L D audio at Katong Odean, they did quite a few of Bimmers for the forum members here. Good job n reasonable price.

i wud suggest Pin Liang at zion road. THe boss is one of the earliest ICE player, and provides very good service and procedures. If money not a problem, try Swift Motion's Sam. Hong Guan lost their key person so its not certain now, but they wun be bad.
I've heard that the new bmw may be more tricky, not sure if its true. MAybe thats why some are reluctant. Your front components may not fit if the magnet is too big. TO know whether the installer has experience with bimmers, jus act blur and pretend to ask wat kinda of components are good, walk away if he didnt mention the mounting depth issue. hope it helps.

sounds like Tye electronics cos they carry Lanzar pdts only. U are gonna have 9 speakers and a sub but only one amp ? wow...

I just called them to make sure everything goes well.. i did tell them to put in a sub for me.. but another amp running the sub alone. but nine speakers.. 1 digi amp running 9 speakers.. powerful enough?.. u think 9 speakers going to give me the oomph??..hehe.. 8)

u may not wanna have too much power to the rear speakers. Drive the front with as much power as possible. Rear speakers are for rear fill only, some dont even have them (like me). OR if u still have time, tho its prob too late... consider pushing more of your budget in having better front components, rather than having 9 speakers. Jus to confirm, is it Tye ?

yea .. i think it is.. are they any good?... cause i know for the ICE... beemers can be quite tricky.. even the last guy who did my last car, found out i was going to get a beemer.. asked him if he could do it... hahaha.. he din sound too convincing.. anyways.. give me ur feedback bout tye ya?... it's SGD2400 for the upgrade.
