BMW from performance motors

I am returning back to Singapore from HK wher I just sold my beloved 320i E46. I want to buy a new one the listed price on performance motors is $155K. last monday I saw starit times in HK showing BMW from monthly installemtns of $888. It seems to me that performance motors sell for lower than the sticker prices. Can someone help me with what can be the price for a 320i /323. Also is it really worth while to look at hte PML pre owned vehicles rather than just buy from private owners.

too many questons but after driving the BMW I am looking ofrward to driving one in SG as well.

I would also like to know avearage costs of a inspection1 in SG here in HK it is minimum SGD700 excluding any other issues from BMW concessionaires

thanks

Re: BMW from performance motors

Approximate transacted price (varies according to SE, package and promotion)

320 ~130K
323 ~143K

the ad you saw in straits is additional 6K discount (either in lump sum from selling price or in lower monthly instalment of $888 1st yr only assuming you downpayment 10K and 10yr loan) and free insurance 1st year.

Inspection ~60SGD

Hope this helps

Re: BMW from performance motors

in general, most of the big boys in town do not sell at sticker price. this true for BMW, Lexus, Audi, Merc, etc. current selling price for 320 is 136k and 323 is 150k before disc packages, either thru PML or SE.

if u are looking at a 1-yr old E90, then PPSL prices range around 116k, which imo, is more worthwhile to buy new cos bank int rate is higher for resale car, plus there is a transfer fee of about 1k

Re: BMW from performance motors

I hesitate to buy from PPSL actually... their prices are way above market prices

Re: BMW from performance motors

You mean inspection 1 service ( on service indicator) from BMW is only $60? Seems too good to be true. since it includes oil/filyer/airfilter/aircon microfilter plus some other stuff that gets changed...

I think you are mentioning of Car Servicing, not inspection ^^

The threadstarter was referring to Inspection I... price depends on your ride.

For S$700 I can do Inspection II on my cab at one of the trusted external workshops (see Resources folder).
