BMW F30 1.6 valve seal issue

Hi Pple

My bmw F30 1.6 is leaking white smoke and has high engine oil consumption. The workshop said it’s a valve seal problem and recommend a top overhaul of $2.4K.
What’s ur take on tis?
Do I need a top overhaul or just a change in the valve seals will do?
Also, abt workshop can do it cheaper?

Just ask around for a quote. Don't have to be set on only 1 workshop and its recommendations.
