I don't understand why other road drivers must point out that it is a "BMW driver"?
I don't hear the same kind of comment saying "Honda driver", "Toyota driver"...
I sense some level of "discriminative jealousy"...

Exactly... Such "stereo-typism" only proves its relevance of "discriminative jealousy".
I see this the same as a discrimination against a religion, race etc...
It insinuates that all BMW drivers drive like that. I like to highlight such behaviour at the "Conversation forum". We cannot allow this to happen.
If we don't do something, dignity will be taken away from us...
Doesn't mean that this BMW is slow in cheonging across the lights, the same happens to the others. The others do it smoothly, and with style... without causing accidents...

Driving on the road is everyone's responsibility.
If the car that "avoided" the accident is a BMW, I think the article will write "BMW driver did not check before speeding off at traffic junction."
