BMW car key logo missing

Hey guys,

Anyone out there facing the same problem with the bmw logo dropping off from the key?
This is the 2nd time i'm facing the problem and i've already replaced a new set with bmw.
They said they don't sell the logo itself so the whole darn thing have to be replaced.
But since it was the first time, they did it for free. I dont think they will do it the 2nd FOC.
Anyone out there facing the same problem and has a solution to it, please share!!

Same problem here, but luckily I found the little logo and super glued it back on. No problem since.

Sad, couldnt find mine.. I dont think its worth paying to change the whole key just to have the logo right. Anyone knows whether it can be purchased anywhere? Coz pml doesnt sell it alone.

have u asked them to replace it again? i thought its a known design flaw, and they will do it?

nope. didnt ask them again. the 1st time i asked them to do it, they said since its the first they'll do it FOC. I dont think they will do it the 2nd time.
I wonder whether the market has the black-white CF logo emblem for the car key.
it would be nice and i believe many would want it too.

i have mentioned it before- superglue will damage the key, i have witnessed it personally! and why would they not replace it under warranty? I have mine replaced twice- both transponders, that is. and if you wanna pay it is around $200-300 a pop, worth it?

i think its ard 200 to 300 for a key.. not really worth it just for a logo.
but, 2dae i went down and try my luck, to my surprise they agreed to change it without a word.
So guys out there facing the problem, i think as long as ur car is under warranty, they would do it for you. take a couple of days for them to order a new key den they will ask you to go down and collect it.

No prob man.
But i am still in search of the black and white CF logo for the car key.
If anyone manages to find maybe u can post it den we do a group buy or something.
I'm pretty sure many would like it and i guess it'll be cheap also.
