BMW 630i

Hi, any friends here care to comment on the 630i? I am thinking of buying one. Should I buy new or used one within a year? Friends told me dont buy new bec PML lelong all the time..

is the same engine powering 330i and 530i. do you think d' 6 will be too heavy for the 3.0L straight-6?

for some reason, i "own" a 650Ci for 3 days, i think that's the right configuration for d' 6

nope... the 3.0L is still sufficient for the 6er... as the engine is lighter.. but if u got the $$$.. then of course... go for the 650i la.. road tax is killer also...
i personally feels that it is ok...

630 is good for singapore.
650 is a overkill. no long straight stretch to flex the muscle. but can get back the value when driving to country club. keke

kidding...would think its sufficient...but if you have e dough and not so much other commitments...why not...

btw...thought there are a lot of 630s around on SGCarmart?

"Enough" power can only be self defined.

It's not like u're buying the top of the range where u can't choose more powerful options.

If it's "enough", then it implies "satisfaction", which then makes ppl who search for power mods in their vehicle with "enough" performance look like an idiot.

You're paying the bills, so you decide for youself. Go test the car. Good luck with the search.

630 is nice drive.... maybe can wait for the 635 twin turbo!!! (if it happens)

with regards to brand new or used... we all know PML marks up like crazy.... so, used makes better economical sense. But for that sheer feel good factor, nothing beats driving a brand new BMW with its intoxicating leather smell, away from the delivery centre..

dont i just miss that feeling man... haha
