BMW 335 coupe - 0 -100 kmh in 4.8 seconds???

wow...

i just read the business week review of the 335i coupe... the reviewer claims he did 0-100 kmh four times in 4.8 seconds!!! (thats faster than 99% of cars on the road... we arent even sure if the new m3 can do 4.8 seconds...and its only 0.1 seconds slower than an M5?!!!)

thats blardy fast!

believable?

paper specs is 5.5 (auto) and 5.3 (manual)..

if its really so fast, then i should ditch my car man...

You shld go to e90post.com and read the thread where the USA Tuner "Vishnu" is currently working on tuning the 335i. That is probably one of the longest thread. if busi week can really hit 4.8 sec, then Vishnu can do 4 flat? kekeke

but he says it with so much conviction (you can read the link on bmw-sg home page...), i find it curiously amazing...

4.8 seconds is really damn fast..

335 tuned to do 4 flat???

jaskin - to reviewer maybe its just floor pedal, press start button on casio stopwatch and then press stop when speedo hits 100kmh..

dont think they use G-tech?

hahahaa.. bro.. u thinking of changing again??... my e46 has is just about hit 2 years (this Jan)... and i've seen u go through the 325cab to Evo 9 to Maser, the Mini to Z4 ....haha!

wonder if anyone had pictures of those glorious days of sticker-mania? haha

The BMW official timing is based on 2 person in the car weighing 70kg with 3/4 tank petrol and dunno how many lugguage. If u remove all these, and get a 50kg guy to drive it, it will be faster what ! duh.....

The BMW official timing is based on 2 person in the car weighing 70kg with 3/4 tank petrol and dunno how many lugguage. If u remove all these, and get a 50kg guy to drive it, it will be faster what ! duh.....

wah your logic is interesting...so remove all these can shed 0.7 seconds off the timing uh?!?!?

then my maser can do 0-100 in 4.1 seconds liao...can match F430! haha... duh!
