just go with BMW, (better handling)
BMW = Sheer Driving Pleasure....
* best is to test drive both ride then you decide which variant is more suitable for your lifestyle....

once you compare the interior ... it's heaven and earth
the S Line firm & solid seat with stitching and alcantara in the middle .....
i think S Line package comes with B&O audio system ... if yes, another

For interior looks, even Mercs is no fight for Audi nowadays. e90? I think can fight with Jap car.
For exterior looks, very subjective. e90's design is older and will be replaced by F30 in 2012. A4 is relatively newer. Personally I prefer A4. But again, this is subjective.
Other factors I cannot comment, me no expert.
Lastly, I heard the AD for Audi better than the one for BMW. heh heh.

agreed tat appearance, design interior or exterior, 'A' is the IN thing.... but im a realistic guy on car n going for handling... i tested drive 'A' atleast 3x on different ocasions to convince mysef 'A' is better but.... after test drive 'B' i knw wat i really wan for.... good luck.

appearance e90 more lasting.
interior, unless u get the highline for e90, else too many features missing compare to A4. adv to A4
perfomance, very close fight however, a4 can chip up with warranty. adv a4 again
handling, rwd vs awd. reviews always say bmw more fun to drive. however they are expert. they know how to drift. do u drift?
i only know when i drive my 335i in the rain, even a honda stream overtook me cornering.
all in all, head say a4, but heart will always say BMW.
audi sales increased 60% last year. i guess more ppl are giving it a try due to aggressive marketing and good design.
every sat when i flip thru ST, is all audi audi audi!!!!

- performance - what performance on the 325 ? almost no performance imo... good point A to point B driving... nothing special when u decide to go spirited.. sharper steering feel on the BMW... but way more grip on the quattro...
- appearance - the 325 is dated imho.... its been around for quite some time and its getting boring... not to mention the interior...
- maintenance / reliability - maintenance about the same... reliability is really heng suay one... no one can tell you..
- fuel consumption - fuel consumtion is about the same depends how heavy footed you are
choosing a car is like choosing a gal... take a look... just a quick look of 20-30 seconds... of exterior and interior... dont ask anyone dont drive it... dotn ask opinion frm salesman/friends whatsoever dont ask about price and dont as about OMV...
which one steals ur heart first.... that would be the one u like in the end IMHO..

BTW, I think for all the models up to RS5/M3, valuation of OMV/Selling Price aside, I think Audi wins in all areas such as:
- Styling - Exterior and interior
- Quality
- Service of agents
On par in terms of paper specs, but BMW wins in:
- drivers' feel and soul. Very qualitative feel.
Between RS5 and M3, tough fight.......

in Sedan guise, the A4 looks much fresher (because newer, I guess?)....and in terms of interior, BMW = "Buay Sai" Audi = "Boh Bey Zao"

Take 335 sedan vs S4 stock to stock. The handling of the S4 is pretty impressive relative to the e90, perhaps due to the suspensions. Very close comparison, but I would have picked the S4 instead of the e90 335.
Take 335 coupe vs S5 coupe, I always think not a direct comparison, but price point say so. The 4.2 V8 is always preferred to the 3.0 IL6 twin turbo, and the interiors edged BMW. Exterior very subjective. But the S5 feels floaty. So, very close fight. Undecided.
Take 335 cab vs S5 cab, also close fight. 3L TC vs 3L SC........
As for RS vs M, RS always unfair comparison, cause Audi will wait 2-3 years to attack the M or AMG.....

Well I will stick to 325 bec it is NA and wont have reliability issues of turbo. Also the rear wheel drive of bmw have better accuracy in handling and also shorter overhang.
One is entry 4 cycl turbo, while the other is a decent straight 6. Audi can chip , BMW si mi also cannot.
Want to play, take Audi. Want to drive, take BMW....:juggle:
