"BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd yesterday launched its locally assembled version of the BMW 3 Series.

The three-variant model line-up comprised the new 320i, 320iSE and 325i, the company said in a statement. "

Does anyone knows what is the different between 320i and 320i SE?
I dun think this is the 170hp 320i SE right??? bro from amalysia care to enlighten us?

i dun think it'll ever hit our shores bro, IF i rem correctly, this is only specificly meant for Malaysia.

Re: BMW 320i SE

These are known as CKD units, i.e. Complete Knock Down, as opposed of CBU, i.e. Complete Build Up. Maybe some of our bros from up north can confirm this?

Re: BMW 320i SE

That's a relief!! Wouldn't wanna pay so much for a made in Malaysia car would we?

Re: BMW 320i SE

I wouldn't buy a Thai made car. Much less a Malaysian assembled one.

Re: BMW 320i SE

320i SE is special edition which comes with Bi-Xenon headlamps, Sport steering wheels, wood trims ,etc.

The 170 Bhp model is called 320 Si which is Limited Edition and probably won't be available in these markets. Thai factory in Rayong is actually quite advanced and can assemble all models, but due to policy, the company chooses not to. The CKD version has some components replaced by local manufacturers. The items such as Seat belts, etc. while the rest remain the same with CBU. If choice is available, buyers would definitely go for CBU

Re: BMW 320i SE

CBU Price:
BMW 320i RM 250k
BMW 325i RM 300k

CKD Price
BMW 320i RM 233k
BMW 320SE RM 250k
BMW 325i RM 289k

So????!!!!!
