BMW 320 Manual

Hello everyone....

I'm new here, my name is Russell, currently driving a Honda SiR.

Have not own a BMW before and would like to check it out this nice 320.

Due to my passion with manual car, I am interested with the 320 manual.

Does anyone own a 320 manual ?

Need some suggestions and opinion on the 320 manual version ?

Whic model u looking at ? The E36 (92-97) might still find a dozen manual running on the road but the E46 model (99 to 05) is as rare as gem. PML don't bring them in. I personally only know of 2 coupe, which was brought in thru PI, highly spec but don think owner are selling.

I think Arsony drives a manual. There are also some who converted their autogearbox to manual ones.

There is one E90 320i running on the road already. Brought in by PML apparently.

I did personally saw a Black E46 320i coupe manual driven by a Chio early 30s lady at Tanglin Mall before. I park next to her and was waiting for her to complete her parking. Wow, as I stepped out of my car, saw the manual shift stick. Impressive! and her heels was very high and pointed too!

I did personally saw a Black E46 320i coupe manual driven by a Chio early 30s lady at Tanglin Mall before. I park next to her and was waiting for her to complete her parking. Wow, as I stepped out of my car, saw the manual shift stick. Impressive! and her heels was very high and pointed too!

Can someone educate me on how to drive manual with 4 inch heels????? Maybe that shifter is fake one! Muahahahahahha. Ok la, maybe she took off her heels when she drive. hmmm

Wait, maybe she can really do toe heel technique.

actually it's possible to drive with heels on. It's definitely not as easy as driving barefoot or with sneakers, but possible... .. i used to do that, cos i didn't want to have to valet the car and have to struggle to put on your heels while the valet is holding ur door open to the whole wide world!!!

Oh i see, cool. Anyway, thats rather dangerous. But I do understand the valet point of view. Sometimes, the job of a valet dude does have its perks.

Thanks for the advise.

Is the new (E90) BMW 320 manual.

I was checking with the sales personnel last week, she said that they are able
to indent the manual version, if I am really interested and is S$ 6000.00 cheaper, at 139 K.

Today my friend told me that PML have some manual available, which able to test drive and
the price is at S$ 134 K.

Don't know who is telling the truth, will check it out again tomorrow.

Any comments ?

I just test drove a 330Ci Man very nice ride, price pretty ok but only thing is that the car is heavily modded.

options added at the factory are subjected to 110% ARF i suppose. so true cost is probably less than $3000, which is relatively reasonable.

be prepared to WAIT A LOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGG time if you do a special indent. and be prepared for significant mileage clocked before delivery of your car if you need to homologate.

U mean for manual after $6k discount is $139? But my fren bought the auto version for $139k. So if the SE is giving u $6k off, shdn't the price then be $133k?

Arson's is a manual 323, not 320 and he does not intend to sell. Hmmmmmmmmmmm 4 inch heels huh.... I guess that gives new meaning to heel and toe........ do u know that even men's shoes now a days have toes that is 2 inch longer then the silly foot?????? That's why I oply wear drivning shoes like the Pumas, yeah i even wear these to work (for the last 8 years!!!) and to see my clients too... but hten they know me lah.........

yer have a check with the sales.... it took about 4 - 5 months to arrive Singapore...

"Significant Mileage Clocked" meaning that they (BMW Germany) will deliver a
used or some one who drive it for a few months and sell it to Singapore ?

Hi T6....


As per what I was told by the sales, the price $ 139k is that you
buy the immediate stock and you loan 7 years above you will
enjoy this discount.

7 Years you get a 3% discount of your loan amount from the finance or
PML rebate.

So if loan for $ 145 K time 3% = $4350.00 less $ 145k = $ 140650, may be
another 1 or 2 K discount, that is why is around $ 139K, correct me if I am wrong.

If I am going to indent the Manual version, PML will not give the discount
selling price will be fix at $ 145 K (cos is not the immediate stock),
less manual version discount 6 K = $ 139K.

If I am going to take up the loan for more than 7 years, then may be another few K discount depend on how much I have to loan.

Friend advise me to take up the auto version with the steptronics and is still the
same as the manual.

But personally still prefer the Manual version and I think is quite unique,
but resale value may be not up to market requirement.
