Kind folks at PML asked me to pop by to pick up the 118i for a drive, and i must say, after 2 days... i'm honestly quite surprised that it's definitely not lacking in power (initially i thought it would be under-powered).
Very pleasant and comfortable drive, very nice steering feel and the compact size made it very easy and stress-free to drive around on Singapore roads. Pedal-responsive and 4pot is smooth.
Interiorwise, the bits in the cabin are done very well and quality is pretty premium, and features are commonly found in the 3 series, save for the i-Drive functions etc. In a way, the car is a simpler "get in and drive" car rather than a complicated e-f(x)'s operated car. I like the no-fuss and simplicity and certain spartan features of the car. Uncluttered and clean.
I like it very much. Yes, even coming from a M. It's really a good drive and is quite practical for a family.
