hello actually i'm a very lazy guy who never bothers to clean up bird shit or even wash my car. couple of yrs back, i stayed in the uni hostel for a couple of months straight without going home. and i kena a few bird shit which i never bothered to clean for like 2 months. when i eventually cleaned it, the paint of my e46 was stripped to the white undercoat!!!! very garang.

actually, i believe bird shit is not acidic. it's actually highly alkalinic, or basic. either way, it still eats through paint. so dont kena my example quickly wash off everything ok..... anybody willing to do litmus paper test on bird shit?

I'll carry some pH indicators in my car. Next time if i see bird poop, I'll test it. pH will vary according to diet and species.

Yo,

Use zymol cleaner wax to remove. you will not be able to remove within a day. wash and cleaner wax it and one week later do it again. you will be able to get rid of the mark by then...
You can get it from Giant supermarket.

Hi Guys,

Just kenna this major lugee on my car. The biggest piece of bird shit I've seen so far. Removed it with a wet tissue and some body shampoo and realised that it actually ate into my car's clear coat within that amount of time. Tried using Autogylm polish to polish it out but it's not working.
Any solutions part from painting the car? Would Glare or Zaino remove the mark?

i used to have problems with watermarks & birdshit marks on my previous car.

with this new black ride, i send it to AMK autopoint to have it glared immediately after i collect my car.

now i'm nt scared when i kanna birdshit marks. i still try to clean off immediately..then go down to AMK autopoint to have them removed. they are able to remove it using their "glare knock out application". so far all removed..at $10 per marks.

now car free of watermarks & bird shit marks.
