Wanna check if anyone has got comment on the Bilstein B8 Sprintline and the B6 shocks...

Read from the Bilstein Webpage that they both have the same rebound rate and only difference is that B8 is for lowered spring and B6 for factory spring...

How's the reliability like and how's the ride like ?

I understand that though good, it soften up pretty easily so don want to make the mistake...

Anyone with experience pls help...

Appreciate a lot...

Thanks....

piggyboyz,
Bro, for a hard core trekkie like you, just go straight to coilover..U will be totally satisfied. A PSS is good enough with similar stock damping..
I know a happy owner running around with this set up...swee swee...

Sigh... I also know, been trying to tell myself not to spend too much la... so still looking at shocks, rather than coilovers...

I had installed the PSS/B14 on my E39 about 2 weeks ago and I were prepared that the ride to be hard but turned out only slightly firm side to my liking as compare to stock. Furthermore car look good and handling is superb even my wife felt that the car is much stable when I do corner or straight. Now when I do corner like my younger day (ten years ago) style of gut.
As my understanding from Eng Soon (the PPS I bought from) is lifetime warranty, hence reliability should not be a problem.

How much did you pay for your PSS/B14 incl labour? Thinking of this setup.

I will answer for my bro Nick .... he paid $2,200 all in including installation. The Bilstein PSS/B14 he got from Eng Soon (last piece) and the installation was done at BVO.

I also thinking of this set-up as my mileage is abt 80,000 and time for a susp change. Let's think together.

Hope to see u at the meet-up.

No need to think liao, if you go for stock set replacement will cost around 1k+ and only can  at the car lower look and great handling. Do a group purchase if possible to get better discount

PS: Andy S$2.2k inclusive of alignment and on the 3rd alignment now my car and steering in line, si beh shiok.

To all those interested, Benzline do have the PSS and PSS9 in stock..

I just enquired them a few days ago, for E46, the PSS is about 1.85k while the PSS9 is 2.65k.

piggyboyz,

Yeah, Euro is higher again...that must be the reason they cited... :shoot:
