I am interested too but wonder what is the history of this set of PSS9?
Was it used for tracking and if so, how many times? Actually, how to tell for sure even if the reply given is that it has not been used for tracking? For peace of mind, should I buy a new set instead?

M3 suspension too soft, so owner swapped them for PSS9's. Draw your own conclusions.
On the other hand, PSS9's have lifetime warranties if I'm not mistaken. So, make sure you have an avenue to claim that warranty if you have to.
$1500 is indeed a good price.

Yes, very good question.
Is the warranty transferable? Does the current owner still have the paper evidencing the lifetime warranty? Is there a local agent for PSS9 that can be approached for the lifetime warranty to be honoured? If no local agent, will owner be required to bear the cost of shipping the PSS9 set to Germany (?) which can't be cheap and you may give up pursuing the warranty claim because it's not worth it.

AFAIK, it's not transferable. Having said that, the manufacturer wouldnt know unless you are too honest to tell em. Else, if u know the previous owner, then perhaps he can help you do any warranty claim.
And for the lifetime warranty, I think it doesnt cover everything. For sure, there's warranty against sagging of springs. Else maybe u would like to find out direct from Bilstein.
When I bought my PSS9, I simply trusted the brand Bilstein too much and didnt really bother to find out much warranty's terms n conditions. This coilver build is solid, really heavy duty for extensive street use IMO.
