    1. Caveat Emptor - Before buying from user, do your homework. Check out the person's posting history, number of posts etc.
    2. This is a service we provide free and for the members convenience - we're not responsible for any deals gone bad.

    For everyone else:
    1. No OT. They will be deleted. If you continue despite us warning you, we will ban you from the classifieds completely.
    2. Report all suspicious sellers. If you've seen or come across them from other boards/forums - do report them immediately - it will help everyone here a great deal.

    Report all bad experiences (for both sellers/buyers) on the Buyer/Sellers forum.

number 3 is 3rd most exp number after 1 and 8 .... u wont believe how much some people are bidding for 3....its a highly sought after number..

try bidding for 3 in HK during good economy...... 26k wont even get u close...

try 20k at least...

try hearing frm rolls royce salesman on how much some people want their number badly and how much they willing to bid...

if these people not satisfied..... u cannot get all the single digit... their money like water one

its C = si and X... double whammy combo... alot of ah peks dont like... maybe got chance... but for sure u cannot sell again in the future... sell also people used ur si and X to lower price like mad

+100 it can be quite confusing at times because it's basically based on demand.how much buyer willing to pay or the seller can hold till there's a buyer keen or loaded enough to meet his asking price .Also it doesn't cost much to retain a number till you find a buyer.

Bidded car plates are like diamonds. There is no intrinsic value to it. Just that everyone wants it, and everybody thinks that everyone else wants it. And everybody thinks it's expensive so it drives up the price more, driving demand up more.

But there are those who thinks otherwise, and will never buy a diamond...

My friend bidded $188k for SGD 8 number plate. He is a businessman and very particular about this. 8 means prosperous and SGD = Sing dollars.

SGD 8 A is not that nice a number actually... If it were to be SGD 8 M/ SGD 8 B or even better if it were SGD 8 T

I'm sure i don't have to elaborate on the M B and T.... they all end with lion...

When I called autobahn to enquire on number plate.. They tell me SDX 1 for 170k.. I think they think I prank call.. Anyways lost respect in them if they don't treat phonecalls seriously how to deal with them? Not everyone so free to come down
