for the eisenmann junkies out there, this post from another forum may interest you:
For anyone that doesn't know about this yet, long story short, Eisenhaus made some fake Eisenmann exhausts that were made in Korea. Eisenmann-technik.de found out about this and terminated Eisenhaus' license to sell (the real) Eisenmann exhausts. Eisenmann has now given IND the license to sell Eisenmann exhausts, and they're the only official USA Eisenmann exhaust distributor.

From what it looks like, the fake Eisenmann exhausts have affected the E46 3ers and M3 the most, and then some E60 M5's and 335i's. I've just talked to IND and confirmed that my Eisenmann exhausts are authentic and made in Germany (phew). I would've been seriously pissed off if I were to spend $2k on fake exhausts.
My Eisenmanns as they were being installed. If you see the ribbed lines on the mufflers, you have the authentic ones. If the surface is completely flat & smooth, it's fake.
