I recently sent my car to a reputable audio shop to have my set up done. When I collected my car, airbag light was on and I asked why was this so. Was told that need to reset it as some plugs were removed and reattached due to running of cables.
Went home and next day went to reset the fault but it just could not be done.mechanic took 3 hours trying to explore the fault.
Finally,he checked one of the doors holding the airbag and opened the casing. To our horror, the airbag was already deployed and repacked neatly.the door leather was also neatly redone to avoid suspicion.I called the shop owner and told him of this. He told me that they will replace it for me..
My question is, what would have happened if there was an accident? Also the sincerity was not there at all.What other faults can these people just cover up and expect you not to find out?
I have learned a bitter lesson from this episode and I will never go there again.
All owners, please beware of such incidents and do not be duped.

agree....what if there's was an accident? lives are at stake here.

anyway, as per my personal observation, was opening up a bro's F10 dome light covers to have a look and found that quite a bit of the interior dome light plastic was broken n missing. it also done by a reputable workshop and at a somewhat not so cheap price somemore.

I feel what they did is ridiculous. The staff has no regard for their customer's safety and well being. Screw up first thing is think of how to cover up.

It's not our site sponsor at all. Will name the shop after they have replaced the airbag.hope u guys understand, will sure not want such incident to happen to anyone.paid a premium for installation and this is what I got.pls bare for a while till all rectified.

The shop in question here is H@&G G$&N.hope it will deter others from a similar fate.Have got airbag replaced but need to get system to reset the error.
Just realized that it's never good to leave your precious ride for work to be done overnight.
