Re: Best Motoring test drives the EVO X (5MT & SST)

What a marvellous handling car for the country roads. The turn in is reasonably good, with a short delay, the diff just give so much wonderful play with just correct amount of oversteer before it catches itself. A good sight better than the STI which a piece of dead wood.

From his handling of the steering, it looks like the steering gives good feedback. Since he is making so many small corrections, it is clear that the steering is fast reacting enough for him to even bother to correct.

Watch the Slalom, there is significant delay in the steering, but you don't have to wait too long and when it does turn, boy does it turn in good without ploughing. The SAYC got something to do with it?

But the roll is significant though, first upgrade would definitely be a harder suspension. The previous evo definitely looks much better in this area, much sharper.
