I bought my rims from leong seng, not sure whether is oem or not,hope not =(

Got a shock also, 1st time buy black rim, never expect this to happen. thought of color back the cap black haha......

Terry -- are you sure? I thought it's as followed:

Original = original parts with BMW brand printed on the label/part itself.
OEM = manufactured by the same manufacturer of the original parts, but with no BMW brand on them. Quality should be similar to original parts.
Replica = copy cat.

I might be wrong.

OEM is used to refer to the company that acquires a product or component and reuses or incorporates it into a new product with its own brand name.

many things are made OEM. let's say dismantle the entire bmw car into parts. how many parts are actually made by BMW? The factory probably get items from ten-to-hundred of suppliers and assemble them.

AFAIK OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer... be it originals or factory that made the originals..

not replica for sure...
