Just in case anyone is interested, I got a contact from Japan able to ship in BBS Japan wheels. Esp. them BBS LMs for older BMWs

They did my shipping for my Karo-ism mats and they going to help me get my new steering wheel too.

it's a company specializing in shipping in/out performance parts from Japan

I think the only issue wld be warranty for the wheels.

*no boomz jokes pls, i will delete 'em*

Re: BBS Japan

Steady! Well done.

All the Japanese-made Forged BBS wheels like the RE-V's can come in liao.................

Re: BBS Japan

Warranty claims and returns will be a PITA.

Re: BBS Japan

ya, i agree.. havto spend on the shipping for warranty. that's the bad part :(
but i guess its mostly for those wheels that really cannot get like the BBS LMs for older generation BMWs

Re: BBS Japan

hmm BBS rims only? no other JDM parts?

Re: BBS Japan

anything else u want? I can always ask.
They were the same folk willing to ship me the Gurt Strut bars too but i backed out cos i didn't wanto lug a strut bar all the way from Japan back to SG

Re: BBS Japan

i'm eyeing at something you've already brought back from JDM land. greddy e-manage!! hahaha is it cheaper to just get it there as i am also considering to ask my colleague to bring it back for me.

Re: BBS Japan

Hi Mock !
Can get BBS magnesiums for E34 ??
Am absolutely drooling over these......

Re: BBS Japan

Hi Mock,
went to the BBS america website. (am unable to find on BBS japan website due to translation issues, etc)
The description is as follows: 3-Piece Race Wheel w/Cast Magnesium E28 Center (18” Dia) - under BBS race wheels. No model number etc. Looking for gold deep dish w/ gold mag wheel.

Here is the link: BBS America. Under 'race wheels' - bottom left of screen.

I have checked that E28 wheels go on with the E34 w/o any modifications as per BMW E34 Website

If unable to find, no worries !

Cheers :)

Re: BBS Japan

Mock

Side track a bit.......

I was at SE Tyres today and saw the RE-V that I love SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

They had the 19" DBK model on Display. This is the gun metal color one.....wah Steam Steam.......

19" 9J and 10J for E9X M3 fitment.......I weighed the thing and it was around 10.3kg. Not exactly light for a forged rim but then again the forging process is slightly diff for BBS wheels vs most Jap Forged wheels......even though these are made in jippun also.....

Can see the rim's side edges are very thick and weighing in at 10.3 for 19s is quite ok IMO...........................

Price: slightly
