BBK Installation Question

Yo all,
I send my GT BBK Brembo 6 pot front and 4pot rear to BVO for installation. They ask me a question just now.

Whether the spring return on the callipers should be fix on the top or bottom ??? i'm like blur liaoz.


any bros here know what and how to install this spring return?

It should be on the bottom, depending on how they rotate the caliper. E90 or E92 should be no diff. Ah Wee said he settled liao.

I have tried both ways before and come to this conclusion.

The return spring should be located to the edge closest to the leading edge of the brake pads. This should open up the pads and reduce the wedging effects of the pads. On some cars (meaning pad material), the spring may need to placed on the trailing edge to reduce the squeeling.
