Battery changing promotion by PML & Munich on last saturday paper

Hi

Not sure need to change the battery for the E90 320i. Saw the promotion price on the newspaper on last sat.

I gave Munich a ring on last sat.

Was quoted two battery option. One is "White" original bmw battery 70mah which will cost all in at abt $335. Then there is another "black" original bmw battery which will cost ard $500+

Can ask what is the different between the "white" and "black" original battery?

Or is it cheaper to do it outside?

i thot batt is only $229or something like that ?
dont remember change batt cost more than $300

i would rather take my chances outside

From what u stated and based on price, it should be the difference normal and heavy duty.

Just IMO, the price at PML and MA is higher because of 2 reasons;
1) Original BMW regardless of white or black.
2) Additional cost by following the template of "man-hour-to-change-cost" as recommended by BMW AG as AD.
